Rose Tico's History

Growing up alongside her older sister, Paige, on the world of Hays Minor during the First Orderâ??s rise to power, Rose had a difficult childhood. Roseâ??s home planet was one of the first to be victimized by the First Order who forced her family to work as slaves for the terrorist organizationâ??s mining operations. She and her sister were saved by members of the Republic Resistance and both joined their ranks to help free other worldâ??s like their own from The First Order. Rose became a technician while her older sister became a bomber pilot for the Resistanceâ??s Cobalt Squadron.

During the evacuation of Dâ??Qar, Rose witnessed her sisterâ??s fleet engaging a First Order dreadnought and sacrificing themselves to destroy it. Wanting to avenge her sister and help the galaxy, she joins with Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, and General Leia Organa in their conflict with Supreme Leader Kylo Ren and the First Order.
