A mere shadow of the original, Jake is always solid but Mcgregors acting was as poor as the story.

I doubt this will have great reviews. I loved the original Road House (1989). Also I am a fan of Jake, but here's another remake of a movie that shouldn't have been remade. Maybe it's nostalgia talking on my end.
It won't surpass the original.
