History
Storm 1 is the name given to the player character of Earth Defense Force 5 and can be one of four classes with minor deviations to the story created by this choice. Thus, EDF5 has 4 valid timelines. Contracted by the EDF to work as a security guard within Base 228, the soon to be Ranger was caught up in the first waves of the Primer invasion of Earth. Quickly rising to the occasion, Storm 1 became one of the most storied soldiers of the EDF war effort, being the first to shoot down a Primer Transport ship and eventually piloting Barga against the supposedly invincible Archelus. As the war drew to a close and the situation grew more dire, Storm 1 would work alongside the newly formed Storm Team to confront the Primers's command ship. read more
