Nyx went to university on Cybertron. At some point, a Predacon in her class nearly got her killed during a lab project. After graduating, Nyx joined the planet's Science Ministry, and eventually a position as the helmsman aboard the Maximal research vessel Axalon. While on a routine protoform delivery mission to H'nkshanaar-4, Nyx and the other members of Optimus Primal's skeleton crew received a transmission from Maximal leader Ironhide, who warned them that a group of Predacon separatists had stolen a valuable relic and fled aboard a transwarp-capable warship. read more
